BuzzStream ListIQ is a powerful new tool to help you conduct fast, effective research on Journalists to build targeted media lists. We'll show you how to get set up and started with it in just a few minutes!

How to begin using the BuzzStream ListIQ extension

To start, you'll need to download the extension.

Once you've done that, simply navigate to the extensions panel in Google Sheets™.

Now, hover on the BuzzStream ListIQ option and select "enable BuzzStream"

Once you've done that, simply authorize the extension and you're good to go!

Using BuzzStream ListIQ

BuzzStream ListIQ is designed to give you the full flexibility of spreadsheets and the ability to build out deep research with only limited data. Here how it works.

To start, make sure you have a spreadsheet that includes a list of journalists and publications.

Now, select the formula you want to use. You can view a full list of available formulas in the extension, and we'll also include them here. In this case, we want to find a job title, so I'll enter the formula "=buzz_title" to get started.

Now I just need to select the cells containing the publication and associated journalist, starting with the cell containing the publication.

Now, I just hit enter and ListIQ will do the work of finding the journalist's correct title!

Remember how I said you can use ListIQ with the full power of spreadsheets? Here's an example. Once you've entered the formula for one sheet, you can quickly copy it for the rest of your list. Just copy the formula and highlight the cells you want to populate:

Now, just paste the formula and ListIQ will find the titles for ALL selected journalists!
