BuzzStream doesn't track these links because we want to minimize the risk of your emails getting flagged as spam.

A common technique used by "phishing" scammers is to try to get people to click on a bad link by hiding it behind a good link. For example, a phishing scammer might send emails that appears to be coming from a bank. In the email, they might ask the recipient to verify their account information and ask them to click a link that reads http://yourbank.com/verify_info. When the recipient clicks the link, they're actually directed to a different, malicious URL.

When you turn on link tracking in BuzzStream, your links are replaced with tracking redirect links that are used to count interactions with your recipients. If you use a URL as the descriptive text, you will end up with the descriptive text showing your URL and the underlying link showing BuzzStream’s redirect URL. Spam detection services might falsely treat this as spam because it fits the “mismatched URLs” pattern that’s seen in phishing scams.

To reduce the chance that your email will accidentally get flagged as spam, BuzzStream automatically disables tracking if enabling it would create mismatched URLs.
