When you delete a project in BuzzStream, you'll see a confirmation dialog explaining that contacts will not be deleted, but data associated with contacts in the project will be.

Here's exactly what that means.

Your contacts, aka the People and Websites associated with them.

In BuzzStream, contacts live in your team's central database — not inside any single project.

The people and websites linked to the project you're deleting will still exist after deletion, and they'll still appear in any other projects they're linked to, along with their contact info and relationship history, which live at the contact level.

The project itself, plus the project-specific data attached to those contacts: scheduled emails, project-specific chronicles, notes, saved articles and links, payment records, and link monitors are removed as well.

There is no undo, and deleted project data can't be restored.

If the project contains outreach history you may want to reference later, export the project data first.

We strongly recommend archiving projects rather than deleting.
